Refund Policy
This policy explains when payments on FrameWorked can be returned. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
Commissions and escrow
When you pay for a commission, your payment is held in escrow — it is not paid to the creator right away. A commission is only final once you approve the delivered work and the funds are released to the creator.
- Before release: Either party may cancel the commission while funds are in escrow. When a commission is cancelled before release, the held funds are returned to the buyer in full. Because the sale was never finalized, this is the cancellation of an incomplete order — not a refund of a completed sale.
- After release: Once you approve the delivery and funds are released to the creator, the sale is final and no refunds are given. Approving the work confirms you accept it as delivered.
Returned escrow funds are sent back to your original payment method and may appear as a refund on your card or bank statement. Processing times depend on your payment provider.
Membership
Membership fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods. You can cancel your membership at any time to stop future billing; you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
Free trials
If your plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged as long as you cancel before the trial ends. Once the trial ends and billing begins, the membership terms above apply.
Payment disputes
If you believe funds were handled incorrectly, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly — most issues with an in-escrow commission can be settled through the cancellation process above. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
